At FISPAL Tecnologia 2011 the IMA Group exhibited new solutions for the food industry.
We taken the occasion of FISPAL Tecnologia 2011 to present our new Brazilian production facility which is located near São Paulo. IMA has opened a new production facility in Brazil to be closer to the Brazilian customers and strengthen its presence in this important and strategic market. Our approach is not just to supply innovative and reliable machines, but mainly to be a partner for our customers, guaranteeing immediate after-sales and spare parts services.

IMA SAFE CO.MA.DI.S. exhibited the C960, a compact and innovative tube filling machine suitable to fill and seal – by hot air technology - plastic and laminate tubes. The machine is marked by quick change of parts in contact with product and easy changeover. “Quintessence” of reliability, ergonomy and ease of use, this model is evidence of CO.MA.DI.S. incomparable capability in manufacturing effective tube fillers, with accurate finishing and brilliant performances. In compact and simplified size, it reconfigures the contents of top class models, using many components from them: an excellent “entry level” in advanced automatic machines. The C960 reaches a mechanical speed of 60 tubes/minute.
On show from IMA BFB Division, the CP18, an automatic side loading case-packing machine for insertion of single and bunched boxes in standard size, pre-glued cases. The machine is extremely accessible and compact thanks to its cantilever structure. The carton magazine is horizontal for easier loading. A perfectly square case during filling is assured by pickup and forced opening arms with suction cups. The carton can be sealed with adhesive tape and/or with hot-melt or vinyl glue. Change-over is performed in just a few minutes without tools and adjustments are made with digital displays. The CP18 reaches a production speed of 12 cases/minute.
Finally on show the STEPHAN UMSK 24 E, which is employed if a single machine is required to execute reliably and quickly a wide range of processing functions, such as cutting, fine cutting, mixing, stirring, kneading, making purees and emulsifying, working under vacuum as well as indirect heating/cooling and direct heating. It is ideal for use in all fields of food processing, e.g. for the production of meat and sausages, convenience food, confectionery and dairy products in particular processed cheese. The product contact parts of bowl and cover are made of 1.4301 or similar (V2A). The surface is bead blasted. The product can be heated up to 127 °C. The machine is equipped with a discharge connection DN 65 as well as a tilting device for easy product discharge.
