There has been an improvement in the environmental performance of Italian companies, which over the last year have reduced direct emissions of CO2e by 7% and invested 3.4 billion euros (+27% compared with 2013) in the reduction and mitigation of their impact on climate change. These are the main results that emerge from the CDP Italy 100 Climate Change Report 2014 presented on 5 November at the Italian Stock Exchange, which analyses information on environmental impact provided by the top 100 listed Italian companies and, having identified the main trends, draws up a ranking of the most virtuous entities.
